Want to have a truly different social and dining experience?
Then pop into the Africanswiss Restaurant and music lounge, open since the 4th of June 04, situated 800 meters above Pecanwood Golf course on the southern side of our beautiful shores. The place is also perfect for functions of all kinds for up to 150 people.

Everything offered in AFRICANSWISS is done from scratch. We only use unprocessed organic ingredients, fresh herbs, fresh everything and cooked on order. Our Wiener Schnitzels are genuine veal from our own production.
We fry in Butterschmalz and not in Sunflower oil, also Cornflakes are not our choice for the panade, but bread crumbs made in our own bakery. We do our own bread, as no one wanted to bake for us as we like it, without the Crispy Green (a chemical that replaces skills, it’s a South African invention). To make proper bread you have to stay up very early. Sorry lazy bunch, but that’s what cooking is all about, to go the extra length.

We have Fondue with Gruyere Cheese and Emmental, in white wine (not the box) and Kirschwasser (a hot spirit with no sugar, you can have that separate, but don’t blame us). Meat is never frozen, neither is the fish. We travel for good food. And vegetarians aren’t neglected, as the Swiss love meat but also their vegetables. For example we do Gnocchi’s (potato dumplings) like the Italian’s do, no flower content, pure potatoes on a dream like sauce with Gorgonzola cheese (no blue cheese short cuts), Mascarpone and some Sprinz, squashed grilled garlic and some Sage. And if you want some African food, we will be able to serve you as well, because we cook, he, that’s unusual. It’s all about passion for what we do and we have lots of it.

We are open from Wednesdays to Saturdays till late, Sundays the whole day, but not the evening. You always can make separate arrangements, lots of people do. So, if you have a birthday on a Tuesday we still are here to cook for you if you want to come with a bigger group or family.
